Head Boy and Head Girl 

Each year, Castlefort Academy appoint a Head Boy and Head Girl through a democratic vote. Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to write a persuasive speech to present to their school friends. All pupils from Years 1-6 then have the chance to vote for which students deserve to be the Head Boy and Head Girl. This process provides our pupils with a better understanding of the process of democracy - a key British value. 

This year, Austin and Holly were selected to represent the school following their well-executed and fabulous speeches. We also have a Deputy Head Boy and Girl this year - Oliver and Ava will help and support Austin and Holly. Whenever there is a special event through the year, these pupils attend and represent the hardworking children of Castlefort. Well done to you all 4 of you!
